Why choose a vertical mouse?
A vertical mouse keeps the hand in a more upright handshake position. This reduces inward rotation of the forearm compared with a conventional mouse. Biomechanical research on vertical mice has measured less forearm rotation and lower activity in certain wrist and finger extensor muscles (Quemelo & Vieira, 2013). This change in posture and muscle load is relevant to hand, wrist and forearm complaints caused by prolonged mouse use. The shape of the mouse is not the only factor: positioning it close to the keyboard limits sideways reaching and can reduce strain on the shoulder and arm.

Does this mouse fit my hand?
This mouse is best suited to a hand with the following measurements:
Hand length: < 19 cm
Hand width: < 9 cm
