Why choose a split keyboard?
A split keyboard allows the left hand and right hand to work more in line with the forearms. Research by Marklin and colleagues (1999) shows that a suitable split layout can reduce sideways bending of the wrists. With an adjustable model, the inner edges can also be tilted upwards, so the forearms need not rotate as far towards a flat hand position. The adjustment can be matched to the position of the arms while typing.
