Why EnergyByLight?
Good workstation lighting makes documents and the keyboard clearly visible. Too little light, distracting reflections and large differences in brightness can contribute to tired eyes and headaches. EnergyByLight combines focused light on the work surface with lighting of the immediate surroundings. Adjustable brightness allows it to be adapted to available daylight and the tasks being performed.
Light also influences the biological clock. Special light-sensitive cells in the retina pass information about light to brain regions involved in the sleep-wake cycle and alertness. The amount and composition of light, the time of day and the duration of exposure all matter. Sufficient light during the day and less light as night approaches help the body distinguish active hours from rest.
EnergyByLight automatically adjusts brightness and colour temperature throughout the day. The location is set through the app, after which the lighting programme follows local daylight patterns. This biodynamic control is intended to let lighting follow the daily rhythm.
